We make a point of favoring short circuits as much as possible.

This is not demagoguery, but common sense.

Why produce on the other side of the world and transport a product over several tens of thousands of kilometers when craftsmen close to us have at least the same know-how?

Paula's frame is therefore hand welded and painted in Italy.

Since it is handcrafted, if you are shaped like a T-Rex and our standard geometries do not suit you, we can offer you a custom frame at no extra cost.

It has a cost for local artisanal manufacturing. For sure.

But it offers so many advantages…

The tubes used come from the Dedacciai Fire Competition Light series based on alloy 7005.

Super light, hydroformed and stabilized by heat treatment, the tubes in this series are the best available today.

Dedacciai has also developed tailor-made chainstays for us to allow a 50 mm rear tire to fit in without difficulty.

For the fork, no choice, the best material is by far carbon. Paula is equipped with a 100% carbon fork with a tapered steerer.

For the bottom bracket, we didn't pretend : You will find an 85.5 mm wide box threaded in T47. This is the best choice in our opinion right now and most likely in the future. If you want me to explain why, take a look here .

If numbers are not your strong point, just know that Paula's geometry is close to what you will find on most "Race" type carbon gravel bikes for the front triangle and much more similar to aluminium Gravel bikes for the rear triangle.

As a general rule, on production aluminum models the wheelbase is noticeably longer, the angles are slacker and, to put it crudely, the bike is less dynamic.

We wanted Paula to be as playful as possible without being unpredictable or unstable.

This hybrid solution is, in our opinion, fantastic!

What we hope is that when you climb on Paula you will feel excited and have an insatiable desire to stand on the pedals and send out the Watts!
