We love making bikes and riding them, but sometimes we ride bikes that aren't quite our own.
Let me explain.
Our frame builder doesn't just work for us.
He has plenty of other brands as customers.
Sometimes some of these brands decide to have their bikes produced further afield (Boo! Not good!) or, unfortunately, others close down.
Most of these are track bike brands.
The consequence?
Lots of unsaleable raw fixie frames gathering dust.
Well, that was before Macassan...
How does it work?
It's easy.
We got everything back.
We had the framesets randomly repainted in colors that suited us.
We put a unique mascot on it.
Her name is Manda.
It's a mandarin as punchy as Matthew's mom's Mandarinello.
